Milwaukee World Festival Inc. announced a new format for Summerfest 2021 with the festival to take place over three consecutive weekends June 24–26, July 1–3, and July 8–10, 2021.
The organization stated the three-weekend model allows an extended booking window, opening more opportunities to add national talent to daytime programming, as well as throughout the festival.
