Madison-based StudyBlue, which operates an online studying platform for high school and college students, recently raised $2.2 million in a funding round that started earlier this year. The company allows users to create their own study flashcards on the site to improve learning and has 7 million registered users and more than 275 million flashcards on the site, according to a report at Journal Interactive. Although the company is based in Dane County, its management team is located in San Francisco.
