In an analysis of the 100 most successful universities across the U.S., Madison ranks 13th for best college towns for life after college. Fifteen factors were analyzed across four main dimensions: human capital, housing, economic activity, and earning power and equity. Key findings include:
- Madison is home to the 42nd most successful university in the U.S.; and
- Madison ranks as the 25th city to have an advantageous home-price-to-income ratio between 2010 and 2019.
