The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business and the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery launched the UW Tech Exploration Lab in February, and students showed the fruits of the collaboration with a variety of projects this month at a campus event, the Cap Times reports.
Students used emerging technologies, such as AI and virtual reality, to create various projects. One group utilized AI and cryptocurrency to book hotel stays. Other projects on display included a carpooling app and blockchain technology to expedite bank payments.
Since it began 10 months ago, over 400 students have participated in the lab’s programs and events, creating 90-plus projects.
