The purchase of Madison-based Stratatech by United Kingdom-based Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is complete, although terms were undisclosed.
Stratatech, which produces human skin tissue from human skin cells for wound and burn care, will remain in Madison and move production of its StrataGraft tissue product the MGE Innovation Center in University Research Park.
Staffing will remain the same initially but could increase in the future, according to reports.
