Stoughton Health President and CEO Dan DeGroot announced his impending retirement, effective Dec. 31, according to The Stoughton Courier Hub. DeGroot’s career includes nearly seven years of service at Stoughton Health and over four decades in the health care industry.
Stoughton Health saw substantial growth and success under DeGroot’s leadership. He spearheaded the opening of McFarland Urgent Care Clinic and the acquisition of the Community Health and Wellness Center at 3162 County Road B. He also expanded orthopedic care through the opening of a Cardiology Clinic at Stoughton Hospital and led efforts for a 56,000-square-foot Medical Outpatient Center set to open in spring of next year. DeGroot also worked full-time at Oregon and Cottage Grove urgent care sites.
A search committee and executive search consultant firm will seek qualified candidates to fill DeGroot’s role.
