Stoughton Health opened the doors of a new urgent care clinic in Cottage Grove on Oct. 22, HNGNews reports. The 2,948-square-foot clinic offers immediate care for ailments like infections, minor injuries, and lacerations when a primary physician or pediatrician may not be available.
The facility features six exam rooms, an X-ray and imaging suite, and an on-site lab. The clinic is staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants employed through DEMI Healthcare Partners, which works in collaboration with physicians at the Stoughton Emergency Room.
The new clinic comes in response to increasing health care demands, provider shortages, and population growth in the region. It is located at 110 Limestone Pass, No. 103, and is open Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–8 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
