Stocks on Wall Street rose on Wednesday as more companies published their latest quarterly reports, according to the Associated Press.
The S&P 500 rose 0.8%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.6%, as of 1:44 p.m. The Nasdaq composite rose 1.2%. Each, respectively, sits at 6,815, 47,418 and 23,559.
It was a reversal of Tuesday’s dip, with nearly every sector in the S&P 500 reporting gains. Technology stocks led the broader market, with Nvidia rising 1.3% and Alphabet rising 2.1%.
McDonald’s saw a 2.7% increase, which some credited to its reintroduction of Snack Wraps.
Tariffs and their effects on Wall Street still remain undetermined, as the policies have proven volatile.
The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments on Wednesday about the legality of the Trump administration’s tariffs.
