Stifel Financial Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement with B.C. Ziegler & Co. to acquire its business, according to a release. Terms were not disclosed.
Chicago-based Ziegler has 57 client advisors managing about $48.8 billion in client assets across five states. There are seven Ziegler offices in Wisconsin.
Stifel is a St. Louis-based financial services holding company. Both firms have offices in Madison.
The agreement should be finalized during the first quarter of 2018.
