The Wisconsin Department of Tourism has launched the Wisconsin Trail Report to help users of hiking and biking trails, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. Outdoor visitors can now learn about trail conditions in a report modeled after the seasonal fall color and snow reports. The report shows a collection of trail networks from the state parks system, private organizations, counties, and municipalities, and assigns a general condition — good, fair, or poor. For bike trails, descriptions are given for total mileage, type of trail, surface type, and facilities.
