State to receive $14M bonus for enrolling kids in health care plans

The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will send the state of Wisconsin a $13.9 million bonus for meeting targets to enroll children in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. The money is a portion of the $307 million awarded to 23 states. Wisconsin exceeded its enrollment target by more than 10%.
