State Supreme Court upholds lame-duck laws

The Republican-backed lame-duck laws limiting the power of incoming Gov. Tony Evers in 2018 have been upheld in a decision by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, according to a Capital Times report.

However, the decision strikes down some provisions of the laws governing “guidance documents” for complying with state agency rules.
