According to Channel 3000, workers at the State Street Starbucks location voted overwhelmingly to unionize on Thursday. The location is the sixth statewide and second in Madison to do so.
The final vote was 20–2 and followed concerns voiced by store employees last week over alleged union busting attempts by the company.
Madison Capitol Square employees were the first city location to unionize, doing so in a vote last summer.
