The city of Madison is drafting a request for developer proposals for a project that would raze the State Street Campus Garage at 415 N. Lake St. and replace it with a mixed-use development including housing, parking, commercial space, and a bus garage, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
The redevelopment site is currently zoned for urban mixed-use with permitted and conditional uses including retail, office, public parking, a bus depot, and multifamily residential. The plans recommend mixed-use for this site with a 12-story height cap.
