A Room of One’s Own, a fixture downtown since 1975, will be moving to the Schenk-Atwood-Starkweather-Yahara Neighborhood on Madison’s east side, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
The store has been located at 307 W. Johnson St. since 1997. The move has been prompted by a proposed $100 million development that would raze the building that currently houses the store.
