The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions is warning state businesses to exercise caution if they receive a notice from a company called Corporate Records Service asking for business information and requesting a $125 fee. The official-looking form appears legitimate but has no connection to DFI. Businesses in Maine, Indiana, and Tennessee have also been targeted.
