State home sales slow in November

State home sales slowed for the second month in a row in November, while the statewide median home price climbed 4.7% over November of last year. The year-over-year sales volume fell 6% across the state, reversing a trend of year-over-year increases that began in July 2011 and ended only last month.

Year to date through November, sales are up 11.1% in Wisconsin compared to the same period last year, and the median sale price has increased by 7.5%.

For November, sales were down slightly in the south central region of Wisconsin (1.7%) compared to last year, and the median sale price was up 11.7%.
