State funding will help Wisconsin food relief groups bolster their pantries with local goods.

The Food Security and Wisconsin Products Grant Program will receive $10 million over the state’s 2025-2027 biennial budget, Wisconsin Public Radio reports.

About $5 million in funding was given to Feeding Wisconsin and Hunger Task Force last week.

Both will purchase food that is at least 51% produced or processed in the state.
