A Wisconsin accelerator, the Food Finance Institute (FFI), has grown its Wisconsin FaBcap accelerator into a national FFI Fellows Program to expand its training and coaching to 60 businesses across the food and farm entrepreneurial industries. Four of 15 cohorts will be grouped by specialty: two for food/beverage businesses, one for value-added agriculture, and one for processing/supporting technology businesses.

Madison companies Banzo restaurant and Bonnie’s Balls LLC will participate in the food/beverage businesses program that launched this month. Meanwhile, the value-added agriculture and processing/supporting technology cohorts are accepting applications until Jan. 30, 2022. The accelerator is funded with support from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
