State dairy exports up 23% over last year

For the first six months of the year, the value of Wisconsin dairy exports totaled $171 million, an increase of 23% compared to the same period in 2012. That makes Wisconsin fourth in the nation for the value of dairy exports. More than $1.6 billion worth of Wisconsin agricultural products were exported to 132 countries from January through June, almost 10% more than last year.
