The Wisconsin State Building Commission approved on Wednesday approximately $205.7 million in construction projects across the state, including repairs and upgrades to state facilities and University of Wisconsin System campuses.

“From supporting our local Friends groups and projects that bolster our world-class outdoor economy to addressing the needs of students, individuals seeking mental health resources, and persons in our care, I’m proud the state continues to prioritize projects that ensure fundamental institutions have the foundation to support both current and future needs,” Gov. Tony Evers said in a statement.

Some of the projects include construction of a new health services unit and expansion of the Restrictive Housing Unit at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections’ Wisconsin Secure Program Facility, and replacement of the emergency generator at Camp Williams in Camp Douglas for the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs.
