Spring Green’s Taliesin Preservation Inc. (TPI), in partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, announced a $5 million investment from the state of Wisconsin to support preservation and infrastructure projects at Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Wisconsin home where he lived for nearly 50 years. The funding was awarded as part of the recently signed 2025–27 state budget.
This state investment will fund extensive preservation work and help advance priorities like restoration of Taliesin’s major structures, expanded accessibility and increased visitor engagement.
Wright’s 800-acre estate draws more than 30,000 annual visitors from across the U.S. and nearly 60 other countries. In 2024 alone, Taliesin generated nearly $4 million in regional economic impact in Southwestern Wisconsin.
