Fi-Med Management in Wauwatosa will expand its medical software services, creating up to 145 jobs as the company leverages a $750,000 loan through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
Fi-Med Management is a financial management firm providing comprehensive claims, coding, billing, and other financial reporting services to the medical industry.
Gov. Scott Walker, who announced the loan today, noted the company’s expansion will allow it to provide financial expertise to more health care providers across the country.
Fi-Med’s headquarters is Wauwatosa, but the company also has facilities in California and Virginia. The five-year loan by WEDC will be used for working capital.
