Plexus Corp., a Neenah-based electronic manufacturing services industry firm, plans to create up to 350 jobs and build a new $50 million, 410,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Neenah, solidifying the Fox Cities as the company’s American headquarters, state and company officials announced today.
To accommodate the project, Plexus is eligible for $15 million in enterprise zone tax credits through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. The tax credits will be distributed annually in direct relation to the number of jobs retained, new and full-time positions created and filled, and capital investment over a seven-year period.
Plexus Corp.’s proposed manufacturing facility reportedly will be the showcase for its U.S. operations and provide for the increased space needed for future manufacturing requirements.
