StartingBlock Madison Inc. among 2023 SBA Growth Accelerator Fund Competition winners

StartingBlock Madison Inc. was announced among winners of the Phase 2 2023 SBA Growth Accelerator Fund Competition. The hub brings federal dollars to Wisconsin to support local startups.

SBA recognizes the entrepreneurial strengths of the Madison region. The prize money allows StartingBlock to align its programming with regional strengths and expand its programmatic reach across the state. It will launch the Wisconsin HardTech accelerator next spring and be focusing on advanced manufacturing and on food, beverages, and agriculture.

StartingBlock’s ecosystem partners include WiSys, the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce, the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce, MadREP, Madison College, the Wisconsin Law School’s Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, and the Center for Technology Commercialization.
