The fight for better wages and safer working environments rages on at Starbucks.
CNBC reported that Starbucks Workers United presented Starbucks with a proposed contract last month but has yet to hear a response.
The baristas are asking for a number of things, including protections for union baristas against discrimination, a starting wage of $17 per hour, annual raises of 4%, a dress code endorsed by the union and more.
