Stamm House sold

One of the area’s oldest restaurants, Middleton’s Stamm House, was recently sold to a private investor looking to rejuvenate the property.

The Stamm House has a colorful history. Completed in 1852, it was once an Underground Railroad stop during the Civil War and, later, a speakeasy.
