Dr. Frank Byrne, who has served as president of St. Mary’s Hospital for the past 10 years, has announced he will retire from his post on Jan. 30, although he plans to remain on the board of the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation. SSM Health Care will immediately begin a nationwide search for Byrne’s replacement.
