Plans are moving forward to replace the SSM Health clinic at 1313 S. Fish Hatchery Road with a new, state-of-the-art clinic just north of the current building. SSM Health plans to file a land-use application this week with the city to begin construction on a $75 million, five-story clinic that will eventually replace the current one, built nearly 60 years ago.
As a nod to the South Madison neighborhood, SSM Health will rename the new clinic the SSM Health–South Madison Campus and hopes to break ground in spring.
