Several orthopedic surgeons have submitted resignations from Madison-based SSM Health Dean Medical Group with the intention of starting an independent practice, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. Ninety-day resignations were submitted by most of the surgeons in September but some have decided to stay, and SSM Health is recruiting to replenish open positions. The orthopedics group of SSM Health has three locations in Madison and sites in Fort Atkinson, Stoughton, Sun Prairie, and Waunakee.
