Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the Wisconsin Dells is offering a new calming room in partnership with SSM Health and the SSM Health Treffert Center, WMTV15 reports. The feature aims to provide comfort for individuals with sensory sensitivities.
The calming room offers sensory friendly activities, books, fidget toys and noise-cancelling headphones, and it is equipped with seating and calming visuals for guests. It will serve as a nursing room for mothers as well.
The new Wisconsin Dells offering joins Kalahari Resorts’ other calming rooms, available at its Ohio and Texas properties.
