SSM Health will be the first hospital system in the state to require the COVID-19 vaccine for all employees, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The health care system will require nearly 40,000 employees, providers, and volunteers to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by the end of September. St. Louis-based SSM Health owns St. Mary’s hospitals in Madison and Janesville, St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Dean Medical Group, and other entities in Wisconsin.
