SSM Health is detailing future expansion on and around South Park Street, including plans to build a five-story, $75 million clinic that would lead to the demolition of its oldest clinic along Fish Hatchery Road after the new clinic is completed.
SSM Health will also purchase a 2.3-acre piece of land including a Pick’n Save grocery store at 1312 S. Park St., which is raising some concern from nearby residents because it could leave the area without a grocery store for about a year during construction.
The city is working with all parties on that issue, according to a Wisconsin State Journalstory. SSM makes a presentation to the city’s Urban Design Commission this week.
