Spectrum, UW–Platteville partnership allows students to design products

Middleton-based Spectrum Brands and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville will partner to give students a chance to contribute to the design of household appliances, according to a report from NBC-15. The UW–Platteville College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science’s Senior Design program is coordinating with the company so that engineering students have the opportunity to develop new products. So far, the partnership has produced more than 25 projects including a cold brew coffee maker, smart blender, griddle, and a variety of other household appliances.
