In a recent press release, Spectrum announced it will award the Urban League of Greater Madison $35,000 as part of Spectrum’s Digital Education Grant Program.
The grant is for the Urban League’s “ADVANCE Employment Services: Digital Literacy for the Workplace” effort. The presentation will be held during a computer bootcamp class today at 1:30 p.m., and each of the participants will receive a new Google Chromebook courtesy of Spectrum.
The program will take place at the Urban League of Greater Madison at 2222 S. Park St. Spectrum and Urban League officials will be joined by State Sen. State Senator Kelda Roys and State Rep. Shelia Stubbs.
