The Hardware and Home Improvement Group at Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc. has announced plans to acquire Indiana-based Tell Manufacturing, a private manufacturer and distributor of commercial locks and door hardware. Tell has nearly $40 million in annual revenues. Terms of the all-cash transaction were not disclosed, but the deal is expected to be completed by the end of October.
