Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc. has acquired Salix Animal Health LLC, a privately owned maker and distributor of rawhide dog chews, treats, and snacks. Financial details of the deal were not released, but it was an all-cash transaction.
Salix has annual revenues of about $100 million. Spectrum Brands’ Global Pet Supplies Business had fiscal 2014 net sales of $600 million, according to a release.
