Madison-based Sonic Foundry, a provider of hardware and software for webcasting and video content management, posted a net income of $40,000 (1 cent/share) on revenues of $8 million for its third fiscal quarter ending June 30. A year earlier, the company had a net income of $559,000 (14 cents/share) on revenues of $7.8 million.
For the first six months of the year, Sonic Foundry showed a net loss of $126,000 (3 cents/share) on revenues of $21 million, compared with earnings of $259,000 (7 cents/share) and revenues of $19.9 million for the same period in 2012.
