Sonic Foundry-Mediasite deal done

Madison-based Sonic Foundry acquired the remaining interest in Mediasite K.K., a Japanese enterprise video provider, when it signed a definitive stock purchase agreement with the company. Mediasite will operate independently from its Japanese headquarters, according to a release, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, the transaction should be completed in January.
