SongVest, a former Madison company that offered music lovers a chance to share in the royalties of their favorite songs, has closed up shop after five years. In its heyday, SongVest offered partial rights to songs from, among others, Carrie Underwood, Cher, and Aerosmith, but it was unable to build on its early success.
