North Carolina vodka maker Social House announced on Wednesday that its Varsity Vodka, where a portion of proceeds support Badger athletics, is now available statewide.

The Varsity Collective, a donor- and alumni-led organization that helps student-athletes monetize their name, image and likeness through various opportunities, helped create and launch Varsity Vodka in 2024.

A portion of the proceeds from Varsity Vodka purchases go directly to a school’s athletic department or its name, image and likeness Collective. NIL rights were introduced in 2021 as a way for student-athletes to earn income from business ventures and their personal brand while attending college.

“As we grow our relationship with Wisconsin Athletics, we’re honored to give Badger fans even more reasons to raise a glass — together,” Cary Joshi, founder and CEO of Social House Vodka, said in a statement.

A new agreement to grow the brand’s presence will result in the brand appearing across official channels, select venue signage and at campus events.
