Middleton’s Sober Social is closing on Feb. 13.

The store, located at 1814 Parmenter St., offers an array of nonalcoholic beverages. Owner Kristi Tanner said on social media it is a time for change.

She said the store will close its retail space, but “while the storefront is closing, my commitment to the alcohol free community — here in Madison and online — is not ending. In many ways, it’s expanding.”

While no concrete details were given, Tanner said she won’t be tethered to one physical location and “be able to bring my pink, sparkly, sober brand of authenticity into new spaces, new conversations and new adventures.”
