On the one hand revenues improved for Sonic Foundry in its fiscal first quarter. On the other its net loss widened.
The Madison-based tech company posted revenues of $9.3 million for the quarter ending Dec. 31, and a net loss of $1.5 million (34 cents/share).
That compares to the same quarter in 2015, when the net loss was $1.2 million (28 cents/share) on revenue of $9.1 million.
