Smucker to receive up to $300,000 in job training tax credits for Ripon plant

J.M. Smucker, LLC of Ripon, which is planning a facility expansion, will receive up to $300,000 in economic development tax credits for reimbursement of job training programs at its plant in Ripon.

The tax credits will be distributed over three years to reimburse the company for up to $300,000 of its investment in job training for 118 current employees and four new full-time positions that it plans to create. Credits will be distributed through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.

Smucker is a manufacturer of fruit spreads and other food products.
