Yum Yum Fest, an annual August festival celebrating Madison restaurants and top chefs, will most likely not be held for a second year, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The showcase featuring 25 to 30 area restaurants would take time and energy away from restaurants stretched thin during the current pandemic recovery. The event, which can draw as many as 6,000 people, began in 2014 at McPike Park and moved to Breese Stevens Field in 2017. In 2019, entry tickets were $10, with individual dishes costing $5.
