Sheridan Wisconsin will be permanently closing its facility at 2211 Fordem Ave. in Madison, according to a recent WARN notice. The closure has been prompted by the company’s significant downturn in business at that location.

This action is expected to result in the permanent elimination of 116 employees – including 12 salary and 104 hourly positions. The company expects to begin eliminating positions on April 13 and will continue in phases until complete closure on June 28. This is a nonunion facility, and there are no interplant bumping rights.

The company says it will ensure that employees are paid all earned wages and agreed-upon benefits at the time of their termination.
