Waterton, a Chicago real estate investment company, and Marcus Hotels & Resorts of Milwaukee have sold the Sheraton Madison Hotel to Tennessee-based DeFoor Brothers Development.
According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the purchase price was $19.25 million.
Waterton will continue to manage the Madison hotel and DeFoor plans a multimillion dollar renovation of the hotel later this year.
