Sheboygan food service equipment manufacturer Vollrath Co. announced Monday that it has acquired the Polar Ware Co. in Kiel.
The transaction includes both Polar Ware and its Stoelting division. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Polar Ware employs 350 people, mostly in Kiel, where the company manufactures stainless steel kitchen items and other equipment used in the food service industry, along with industrial parts cleaning equipment.
