Shannon Hall to host Sphinx Virtuosi

Chamber orchestra Sphinx Virtuosi will perform on Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the first performance of the Wisconsin Union Theatre’s 2021–22 Concert Series, according to a release from the organization. Sphinx Virtuosi is a self-conducted orchestra comprised of 18 nationally-renowned Black and Latinx classical musicians. The performance, to be held at the Shannon Hall at Memorial Union, will be the first classical music concert with an in-person audience to be held at the hall since March 2020.
