Several men arrested following 2 State Street fights

Two separate fights on Madison’s State Street last Friday morning led to several mens’ arrest, according to WMTV15.

Madison Police said in the first incident, a man allegedly tried to fight people outside a bar in the 500 block of State Street around 2 a.m. He attempted to walk away from officers and reportedly resisted arrest. He was arrested and booked at the Dane County Jail on disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, attempted battery to a law enforcement officer, and a warrant.

Twenty minutes later, a second fight was reported in the 400 block of State Street. Officers tried to intervene, and a 22-year-old man fled. He was found by officers and arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Two other men, ages 26 and 28, were also arrested on disorderly conduct charges.
